BULLHORN NOVO ONBOARDING
The objective of this project was to increase end-user adoption of the newest version of Bullhorn, called Novo. I created a core framework to enable us to easily add new onboarding events as we release new features.
I worked with our Training team to compile a set of features that would be most important to point out during the onboarding process, in addition to creating content that would be quickly and easily digestible. We wanted to make sure not to bombard our users with information, especially upon their first login, so we kept the tooltips to a minimum. It was also important to draw attention to the new & improved features, in an effort to increase our adoption with users of the previous version of Bullhorn, who may not have discovered the features on their own. Recruiters are quite busy, so it’s common for them to not have the time to be curious and look around the app in depth to discover what’s changed.
To further expand on the user onboarding concept, I created a “Best Practices” guide, which automatically tracks users’ progress on each of the core features. This page also serves as a launch point to the new and robust Learning Management System that our Training team created.
